Hyperhidrosis is a long-term condition; it is basically defined by sweating that is way beyond what the body needs for normal temperature control. This excess sweat messes with the patient’s overall comfort, wellbeing, and life quality in a really noticeable way. Various dosage forms for hyperhidrosis are topical creams, oral route delivery, iontophoresis, botulinum toxin, and surgical options, there are some drawbacks in the various dosage forms. Sometimes the effect of the drug may be not strong enough, sometimes they cause minimal side effects, and other times people simply do not stick with the regimen. More and more, emerging treatment approaches powered by artificial intelligence (AI) are starting to look promising to resolve the problem. For example, AI can assist the requirement of medicines, polymers, excipients, and delivery devices to better treat the hyperhidrosis. It can also help to estimate the formulation traits, like drug release, overall stability, skin permeation, and pharmacokinetics, it help to avoid the error trial. On top of that, AI may create the newer dosage forms, microneedles, transdermal patches, hydrogels, nanoparticles, and even control-sustain polymers, so therapeutic agents can deliver the drug more effectively. Overall, AI can be utilized to modified or personalized formulation development and therapeutic plans for hyperhidrosis, while also supporting personalized medicine for improving drug delivery.
